Fall Adventures

Fall has come upon us, however, that doesn't seem to stop my little
fisherman.  We went fishing two weeks ago in the pouring rain & I actually got
in on the action for the first time ever. It was actually kind of fun!

I often come downstairs in the morning to my early riser in a goofy mismatched set of pj's and he seems to usually pick ones that are three sizes too small. However, I caught him this time dressed up like a cowboy watching a recording of the Seahawks game.

Malia's first game of family Uno.

One of the great things about my job is that once a month we go on outings and our school pays for them.  Families can randomly show up from our class or other classes.  This time none of my students showed up, but I got to be there with my two kiddos AND one of my bestest friends Julie and her two kids and LaNiece who also teaches for WAVA and her baby girl.  It was so fun to be out and about, paid for, and feel like a real stay-at-home mommy just getting to take her kids out for the day!

Malia 3 Months

The many smiles of Malia . .. ..

Yes that's right, I fell into the fashion trap of the skinny jeans.  Although, on Malia everything is saggy!

Auntie Julie, one of the sweetest friends a gal can have!

I L-O-V-E this!  Malia was fussing so G climbed up on our bed, started talking to her and she calmed right down.

At the park . . .

On a walk looking at the leaves.

While I was working, this little sweetie tuckered herself out playing in her gym.  One minute I heared her wacking the dangling toys and the next a little snoring.

Three reasons why I love life!

One of my favorite things about this little girl are her long eye lashes.

Malia is three months old on the 11th of this month.  I can't believe that we have had this little one around for this long.  she is talking up a storm and we share words of LOVE to one another as take breaks together during my workday.  She smiles all of the time and is such an easy baby.  I wasn't sure that I could love another baby as much as I love Gabe.  Now I know that it is possible to have so much love in my life and I am so thankful for every moment that the Lord gives me.  How did I get to be so blessed?  This is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. !

October Stuff & Halloween

For Louise's birthday party we went to the pumpkin patch to celebrate.  And, as you've seen before, Gabe's most favorite thing to do was rope the cows.  He's actually pretty good at it!

One of my favorite things about Fall is the chilly weather outside and cozy food and warmth on the inside.  My boys are bonding over some yummy homemade tortilla soup.

I know this isn't a great picture, but it is to me.  My new job has allowed me to be at home with my kids and enjoy mommyhood.  I had to capture both of my babes playing while I was working on a chilly fall afternoon.  I am loving this!

Malia dressed up as a little hula girl for her first Halloween. . . . . .

. . . . she's looking pretty impressed about it too!

To serve and protect, my boy is a little stud!

His night vision goggles actually work!

Some of our friends were out trick-or-treating with their little duck Annika.

At the end of our Halloween night we always wrap it up at the Meeuwse's.  Here is Gabe with his Godfather, Mike.
