Bits of Summer

Each evening, Gabriel and I water the flowers together just before bedtime. On the warmer days, we tend to play more than anything.

4th of July

We had so much fun at Ray and Carole Grove's Home on Angle Lake for the 4th of July. It's a new and very fun experience for us to allow Gabe to have his freedom to run around with the other kids and watch them play. He loved the tire swing, braving the chilly water, riding on the hobie cat and trying out his kung-fu on the other kids. ( We took him to see his first movie in the theater, Kung Fu Panda) I know all of you are going to want to know this, but he went poop in the toilet again at their house! So, in celebration of that milestone, I told him that I would have a fireworks show just for him over the lake!

6th Anniversary

Our 6th anniversary has quickly come upon us. We spent two days at our friend's amazing Cape Cod Style 5 bedroom"cabin" on the Hood Canal. This is where we spent our first anniversary . . . . . alone. This time, we brought Gabe with us. But, I think we'll stick to getting a babysitter from here on out! :) We had fun on their oyster and mussel smothered beachfront. We hunted for crabs, played with the neighbor's dog, made smores, and just relaxed.
