Malia Claire

We have a little, skinny, long GIRL in our family now.  Malia Claire was born on Wednesday, August 11th at 5:45pm.  She weighed 7lbs 3ounces and was 20 inches long.  She is precious!  Her name is Hawaiian for the still, calm and peaceful time of day when the mist comes down off of the mountains.  She is still, calm and peaceful . . . and I'm sure she already loves Hawaii.  We are so thankful for her and appreciate everyone who was praying for this little coconut!

We have a running joke with Doc.  When Gabe was born, he was so slick, that Doc almost dropped him, but recovered after bouncing G off his knee and into his arms.  So, Mike had to bring the catcher's mitt for Good Ole Doc to make sure that he could catch our baby girl.
